I was inspired by the open back door of our cottage in Arcadia, Michigan – the only one of the original four that remained after the others, which sat closer the shore, were destroyed by water erosion. It was beautiful outside,
and I thought that the door said it best –open and welcoming. The perfect conduit to propel us outside
into the welcoming weather.
