Polyester Resin

I decided that the original sculpture I created was too melancholy for my tastes, so I pulled off the head and added arms and hands that were molded after my own. Because they are much more anatomically detailed than the face, they bring a certain urgency, which begs the question: “what are the hands trying to hide?” Obviously associated with an emotional situation, viewers are left to interpret their own conclusion. On a lighter note, this piece did remind
me of a popular commercial at the time –
" Excedrine headache number 62".
