The Bus Stop

Giclée Limited Edition Print

As a young Ann Arbor artist, my day-to-day activities became routine, and I noticed a man sitting at the same bench every day as I passed by. I imagined that this was how he spent each of day as well. I decided to snap a photo of this relaxed but stern-looking man, and captured him forever at The Bus Stop. Admirers of this watercolor have often remarked that he seems to bear a strong resemblance to my father. Perhaps this was my initial attraction to the man on the bench.
